Every decade or so I want to paint.  Ever since I was a kid, I liked to paint.  It has always been oils, but in the spring of 2008, the urge to paint again hit and I wanted to learn to use acrylics since they have better colors than they had when I was growing up!  These paintings are taken from real places, either painted "live" or from photos. I call them "Lunch Hour Paintings" because I usually do them quickly and usually within 45 minutes.   Sometimes done during a lunch hour.  My influences are the impressionists....vp
